Review the full healthcare deployment
Use a broader readiness conversation that includes infrastructure, agreements, access, retention, and operational responsibilities.
Separate application features from readiness
HTTPS, scoped access checks, and protected sessions are useful application safeguards. They do not establish that every infrastructure, contractual, or operational requirement for healthcare use has been completed.
Identify the parties and services
Document the platform operator, hosting, database, storage, communications, and other providers involved in your deployment. Review applicable business associate and service agreements before introducing protected health information.
Review access and data handling
Define who may access each workspace, how access is removed, how patient identity is checked, and what may appear in logs and support channels. Public marketing forms should not contain patient information.
Plan retention and recovery
Review encryption, backup access, recovery procedures, retention requirements, and deletion responsibilities. A backup file by itself is not a completed recovery program.
Agree on operational responsibilities
Discuss risk assessment, incident response, support escalation, and ongoing review. Request evidence appropriate to your organization rather than relying on a general compliance label.
